What better for an Apple Macbook Pro matte or glossy high definition screen?
I have both. A MacBook with a glossy screen and an Apple Cinema Display 20 "which is dull. Since I do a lot critical work as a photographer, I prefer the matte screen. But this is partly because it's bigger, it is in a controlled (My studio) and that's what I'm most familiar. Yet the glossy Macbook is fine to work on - except (as someone pointed out) in full light. Then she sucks! Unfortunately, brilliant is the only choice for a basic MacBook, or at least it was when I was there two years. The glossy screen seems to give sharper clarity of detail and is very good for most things. But for fine tuning and editing photographic detail I prefer matte. So ... For what it's worth, I'd go with a matte screen on the Pro.
