How does cross over tightened bolts Mount Weaver style / Picatinny Rail set up on an AR-15 should be?
I assume that since an AR is not really a strong guy down arms they will not be too tight, no? Just curious because it seems that I am about half son of the screw heads. Looks like it would be quite easy to unmold. Request / curious because I have no torque wrench, using only a screwdriver.
I am a millwright mechanics, I do a lot of screwing hehe .. Seriously, I would not be any pair of bolt unless the engineer required. I doubt that the small screws or bolts that you are designed for that. If you're worried about their "click" loose, try to brake some net. There are several different strengths, go with the lowest 2. The reason is (I learned from experience) if you ever want to disassemble, and you have the "strong" type, you strip the Heck on the bolt (or screw) trying to loosen it.
