Question about adding Scope Rings?

I have pretty tight, but there is a small space, which looks lame. It is a scope 1 hit "Weaver Rings with these 1" should not tighten flush? But I do not want to spoil the scope squeezing too hard.
There will be a gap. One would think he would escape, but it will not.
