How do I install a disc brake caliper rear of my mountain bike?
I am aware of an attachment that you can get to fit the back of your bike so you can attach a brake caliper disc brakes. I think it's just rapier or something. My bike is a bit old and has no attachment points. Does anyone know where I can gut a montage from or who makes them?
Trying to adapt an old bike like yours for disc brakes will probably not work very well. The frames are disc brakes be very precisely aligned to the brakes to work well. You may also wish to buy new wheels, unless your current wheels have disc hubs compatible. A much better and cheaper is to buy a set of very good v-brakes, they work almost as well as a brake configuration good disc that could not be reached on your old bike.
