help me find artist's name for flashlight spaceship with dwarf and Shakespeare's Island?
I saw several prints by a print artist sometime in the late 80s to early 90s. I can not remember the name but believe it to be male. Both of the describe prints were not expensive (less than $200 unframed) and by the same artist.
One print was of an island castle populated with characters from Shakespeare's plays. It had Romeo and Juliet at their balcony, Puck running around, Hamlet holding Horiatio's skull, etc...
The other print was a dwarf/gnome like "person" in a spaceship with a simple space background. The spaceship itself was cobbled together from a flashlight, I think there were things like buttons, thimbles, erasers, etc also to make up the ship.
This is driving me insane! I need to know the artist so I can hunt down these prints that have haunted me for 20 years. I wish I had the money back then to have bought them, but I was in high school!
