Can I Mount Picatinny rails ...........?
Can I mount a set (THREE) Picatinny Rails for the stock handguard poly Saiga 7.62X39 with a 16.750 "BBL? One on each side and one on the bottom. My idea is to use some kind of fixation within the hand-guard to create a bit of rigidity. Example: a piece of thin steel with holes drilled for the appropriate placement of Picatinny rails. I wanted a common example was Available so I can see that whoever reads this and that, for example but I can not get to anything at this time. If anyone has any experience in this area, or actually did, please reply with an e-mail address so I can contact you and maybe see pictures. While it sounds like I am 13 years old, but I am 43 and sometimes the ideas come flooding in and I do not know what to do. I suppose it is feasible. Everything is possible if you put your mind to it. The main problem I can think of is that you must ensure you get the mounted exactly parallel to the bore or make you light, laser, or any other tactically-cool going up to it will not be directed where his mouth is.
