Have you ever experienced recurrent yeast infections at the time of your menstrual cycle?
Comments only if serious please. As you know the yeast is not an STD --- been tested with wet mount and culture etc. blood, married without straying If STD is not the answer I seek. If you have this problem, do you find it interferes with your life and what do you do for your prevention, drug (Frequency) and other treatments? OB said that my pH changes monthly, and understandibly, but most females do too much, no problem. I not had this problem in previous years. My husband textbooks hygeine --- sometimes we do not even "spend time together in this manner to transfer a YI and forth with the kids etc and not by the time we reach we are too tired to be with me and nurse him a doctor (It sad to say) 
Your OB is correct. Women are more prone to infections with yeasts around the time because of changes in pH. But you can check to see if your husband Hygiene models have changed in the last year. Males can also get yeast infections. I heard some men who have worse pain / itching that females and males who have symptoms less so. Check modes of the hygiene of your husband may have changed to cause it to develop a yeast infection and give it to you (which can happen during sex sex). I was told by my Gyno. Health and seminar I attended a year or two ago, if you have any infections more than two yeast a year that you want to talk with your own Gyno. on the treatment and any underlying causes that can make you susceptible to infection. I wish I could be more helpful, but I hope that helps you a little and you begin to discover the cause.
