How does a Red Dot viewfinder (viewfinder) work?
I've always been curious to see how these things work. I thought it was just a little red dot in the middle of a field of application, but After doing a little research I realized it was more than that! Please explain in basic terms please ... I do not really understand "collimated" "Stacked" and stuff like that when I read about it elsewhere! : S Thanks in advance.
A viewfinder, as Telerad one, is simply a light that shines through a reticle which is reflected by a mirror 45 degrees in a piece of glass mounted in the opposite angle of 45 degrees. When you look down the barrel you see the cross hairs superimposed on the point of view of substance, and may adjust the goal with screw up that it is aligned with the telescope / rifle / camera / etc.
