Commemorative issue rifle?
As a gift of gratitude to my Eagle Scout Court of Honor, I received the Henry repeating rifles Centenary of Scouting Commemorative .22. I am under the opinion that it is a commemorative coin and should not be from other than factory test of my hand and preserved in its original condition. Some think I should take. What are your views? It not like I have never shot a 22 before, in fact, I confess another Henry rifle nearly identical to the Centennial.
When you fire a single round of this gun, it is more "Money" and the value was reduced. Henry rifles may not be recoverable now but you can never predict the future. Winchester rifle first commemorative 1964 Wyoming Diamond Jubilee, sold about a hundred dollars, and is now being evaluated in a state of uncooked (with box and papers) to more than $ 2,000. And, as Winchester is no longer firearms, values will skyrocket. Besides, you already have a Henry firing.
