Whoever heard of a Daniel Boone side by side a 12-gauge shotgun?
Has anyone ever heard of a shotgun Daniel Boone. It is 12 gauge side by side and the only thing we can find on this are the words "Daniel Boone" printed Right above the metal gate. There is also the D8455 numbers inside the receiver. This is the only thing we can know about it and nobody else has ever heard of. Does anyone here know anything about this weapon?
Your rifle is actually a pattern Red Crescent Davis Arms made by the Firearms Daniel Boone Co. Belknap Hardware Co. of Louisville, Kentucky back in the early 1930s. Do not take the gun without having checked by a dealer authorized to make sure it is safe to do so with modern rifle cartridges.
