The Steyr Mannlicher Classic Full stock of the free float a barrel? "
I want to buy the Steyr Mannlicher full stock (inventory at the end of the barrel) but who want to ensure it has a floating barrel. I do not want to face the issue of stock to play with the integrity of the barrel after the passage time. Even if you think that custom metal bentwood, it will be, even if it is very light, 200 meters, it makes all the difference a good move or not to kill. This has been a problem with other rifles complete stock (from what I learned and heard). I also to make sure that the sling swivel is attached to the action, not the gun by the stock. I asked several blacksmiths arms, but no I talked to know a lot about Steyr Mannlicher Classic line. I am only looking for answers from fellow hunters, blacksmiths or weapons who know the Mannlicher classic line, so if you know the answer or know where to find, please pass your answer. I have several firearms Steyr decades and they are really superior. Unfortunately, I not seen the total stock of guns since I was a young man. It's a damn good question ..... I wonder what I see every time a complete stock ..... how can they float the barrel. However, I know Mk4 Enfield rifles as he pretty well. Here is the contact Steyr USA ... call them and ask them.
