How to become an early riser if you love to sleep?
I am a major night owl. If I do not care, I can not stay awake night and sleep all day, because in addition to being a night owl, I like to sleep. I'm 25 years old, so I'm stuck in a habit. I'm in college and will be having classes at 9 am, where I have to awaken at 7:45 am. I work until midnight Tuesday to Friday and I will not sleep as much as I normally do. I am known to skip class because I sleep in too. What are some tips to prepare for classes to begin by up early for someone who hates getting up early and is a night owl? Thank you
I hear you. I am a night owl by nature, but must rise early as well. Well, the fact that you are working until midnight is not great. I have some suggestions: - When you get home from your team tonight, and do everything you can relax. Take away * anything * that is challenging. That means no laptop, no TV, no heavy reading. - If you're open to learning meditation techniques / yoga for relaxation, I highly recommend you to help you to prepare a bed. * * If No, then do some stretching, lying still, empty your mind before sleep. - You have something to expect when you lift - whether coffee, your favorite breakfast, music, something, anything to motivate you to get up. - Once you get up, slowly begins to move - if you are an active person, it would be * * to go cool off quickly or push ups or something. Moving your body will help you stay energized and ready for the day. - & Whatever you do, do not go back to sleep once you wake up, namely snooze. It makes you groggy and does not give you a better sleep. - And also, if you can stay up late on weekends. You want to train your body to be able to get up early. And then I very strongly suggests a nap midday if you can. Go to bed after midnight and gets up early means that you are not getting enough sleep. 3-4 is the best time for a nap. If you do this for two weeks - the body truly awake, then you are going start getting used to.
